Menu is extensive and the daily specials fill a piece of paper. Oh! And they do "breakfast" all day long, too... I usually order their steak & eggs, and Hubby is a fan of their Spanish skillet. Portions are more than adequate.
Employees are friendly and food doesn't take that long. The biscuits and gravy are amazing. This past time, I ordered the steak and cheese skillet, won't ever again. Steak was tough and the meal was bland overall. It literally left a pool of grease on my plate. Will come here again but I recommend NOT getting that skillet.
Well, I think our dining experience would have been more pleasant if the restaurant was clean. We arrived at 4:00PM when it was virtually empty. There was food debris and trash under the tables and chairs... not very appetizing looking. We ordered the steak and it was so-so, not seasoned very well and tasted like it was cooked on a dirty flat top grill. The salad was good, fresh and crisp. And the ice tea was good. Our waitress was a sweetheart. Might go back but will order something that won't be cooked on a dirty grill (maybe it was old oil used on the grill?)
It's your small town greasy spoon that's been around for ages. The food ain't half bad, prices are pretty reasonable (about $7.00 per person) and is well-attended by the Senior crowd. Portions are pretty fair!

Mom & Pop restaurant staffed by very friendly & efficient waitresses w/ great table-side manners. :) Have never waited for a seat, nor have we ever emptied a mug of coffee before the pot is brought 'round again.
I came with my sister-in-law for breakfast and got a spinach, mushroom and sausage omelette. The good was good and the portions were bigger than I expected. I always get hashbrowns and toast as my sides and an extra side of had whenever I go out for breakfast, I couldn't finish my sides because everything was so filling. They have plenty of spots to sit, the staff is so nice and the place is clean. I will definitely be coming back whenever I'm visiting my sister-in-law.
