Recently opened in Copperas Cove. Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Easy parking. Prices are great... the Beneful we feed our three rescues is about 15% less than Wal-Mart's prices. Excellent selections, too. Limited selection of live critters -- guinea pigs & such-- sold in back. All in all a great, locally owned supplier of goods for pets. They also regularly host low-cost pet clinic for immunizations and such. Staff assists in loading your cart and vehicle.
Love, love, LOVE this location!!! I purposely drive 2 towns over to get my pet needs here. Fantastic selection of high quality foods and treats. I usually can't find Earthborn Large Breed and end up having to order it. Pet Supplies Plus carries it! Always find what I'm needing and the constant rotation of sales has me coming back frequently. The coupons they send via email are also worth it. Always clean and the staff is friendly & helpful. Bonus, they even offer free access for pet baths to military families on Sunday.
First time shopping here, and I must say I like it. The layout of the store is simple, the aisles are clearly marked, and the prices are reasonable. The pet food selection is excellent, better than the national chain store we usually shop at. And it's local, so I can support a small business. We signed up for the store card they offer, and what a pleasant surprise. What we would have normally paid about $40 for was less than $27, and that's including a special treat for the neighbors dog. Only thing missing is wild bird food, but that's not a deal breaker for me.
Only visited once and found it very overpriced. It was really clean but not what I needed. The manager was helpful though. It is right after Stripes in Copperas Cove on the left.
Always a great experience. Employees are helpful and approachable. Items are easy to find and if an item is too heavy, like a large bag of pet food, they'll bring it out to your vehicle. Bonus: they always have adoptable kitties in the back.
