Check in was easy, concierge was helpful. The room is big and the air conditioner works great! There are a couple things with the room I'd like to see fixed: there's a couple of floor tiles in the bathroom that are loose and/or broken, and the hinges on the door need oil... They're crazy squeaky. Ah, and the book in the room says there's an ice machine on the third floor, though if it's there I'm guessing there's a platform 9 3/4 that needs to be accessed to find it. Could be me, no promises. Other than that, I am pleased and will recommend this hotel.
Used to be Cove's finest. Now not so. Rooms are worn. Invest in deep cleaning. Replace worn carpets. New paint. Exterminate. Minor upgrades will put this property back on top.
Our 2nd visit here in just a few weeks apart. Both times we stayed in the jacuzzi rooms and both times they were clean and comfortable. The staff is also friendly and professional. I highly recommend it here.
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here after my grandson's graduation from Air Force Basic in San Antonio. I have two boys and their families close to Fort Hood. the room was absolutely superb, staff very nice making you feel right at home. The thing we like the most was the breakfast served and the couple handling the service. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone.
The room is nice enough, but the TV wasn't set up properly upon arrival. It was fixed quickly after notice, though. Wallpaper in hallway is a bit dated, beds are comfortable, sofa bed mattress is thin and springy. Breakfast buffet is nice. One washer and dryer, though? That could be upgraded, and could be free for guests. The hotel is in a good enough location and the service has been good, though.
